For as long as she can remember, Annegret Fiedler has crafted electronic melodies to soundtrack her daydreams. Inspired by New Wave and Post-Punk, she became Perel—producer, vocalist, and DJ known for her genre-blending sound and captivating presence. She was the first German artist signed to James Murphy’s DFA Records and has since performed worldwide, from underground techno clubs to major festivals. Raised in Saxony, she learned to write and produce music influenced by Aphex Twin, Kraftwerk, and The Cure. Later in Berlin, she immersed herself in the club scene, releasing music on Running Back, Kompakt, Permanent Vacation, and more. Perel stands out by singing live over her DJ sets, merging voice and selections. Highlights include Outside Lands, House of Zenner, Sonar Barcelona & Lisbon, Panorama Bar/Berghain, Fusion Festival, and support for The Chemical Brothers. Now based in Los Angeles and Berlin, she returns in 2025 with new music, evolving her timeless Neosynth sound.
