What producers say
- T
Perc provided some very detailed feedback on the technical side (details about mastering/normalization), creative part (where to add an element and why) and also on the industry/label aspect suggesting a few labels, which I didn't know before suiting perfectly my style. I can recommend anyone to get feedback from him, really had the feeling that he took his time to listen carefully and think about valuable feedback!
such on the spot, mindful and detailed feedback on the track, really nudging me towards many important things to look out for mixwise. probably one of the best feedbacks received on echio so far and very quick as well. thanks a lot!!
- G
Great feedback, very detailed. Much appreciated
Hi Ali, thank you for the detailed feedback — really appreciated. I've been following you for six years and I love your sound, so your input carries real weight. I use Echio as a pre-final stage before mastering, and some of your suggestions — especially the low-mid groove — are exactly the outside perspective I needed. Looking forward to sending the next version. Best wishes for the tour!
- P
This was my first experience with Echio and it was incredible. Really thoughtful notes and helpful suggestions. Having this kind of feedback from someone who's music I admire is such a great boost of confidence and a great driver for moving forward with my project. Thank you so much!
Great and very inspiring Feedback!!! Thanks Jen! :)
- X
Honest, useful feedback explained in a way that is understandable and well summarised Thanks, will put it to good use in my next studio nights :)
-
Hi Perc, thank you so much, your feedback has been very valuable and I hope to put it to good use. Also, what you said about more modern production was something I hadn't explicitly mentioned, but you brought it up as an issue, and that's very important to me. I'm really glad I asked you for the deep dive, and I'll definitely do it again. See you soon, Aleks

Super useful feedback! I’ve already started applying his suggestions and immediately realized that the direction he pointed out is definitely the right one. Sometimes, what I really need is a professional and experienced external ear — and Kadosh truly represents that kind of insight in today’s modern scene.
- J
Jen gave me some great feedback on the mixdown, which gave me good insights about the process and really helped improve the track. Just what I needed!
Very helpful, actionable advice! Great feedback. Thanks!
- J
Your feedback is golden for me .. thanks a lot .. also need more modern lead sound with nice sound design.. im almost there .. tomorrow I ll update my monitors Adam a8h with sonarworks sound id .. I used use dynaudio bm15 but need to change with new generation technology ..will see .. I hope we ll work together one day .. this is dream for me .. vocal sample I buy somewhere else.. Thank you so much Perel I love your music .. my sound is more commercial for you I know .. you are very special artist.. I know we are different genre but your feedback is golden thanks xx jjj
Hi Julienne, Thank you so much! Super helpful, clear, and insightful feedback. I spent a few hours on Saturday working some of the larger points, re-processed, and did a side-by-side on my mixer - very noticeable difference already. The track sounds more like it’s breathing now or has a heartbeat, and it has more impact. I need to dedicate some more time to go through everything in more detail. I’ll send you another version when it’s ready. Thank you again. I really appreciate it.
- m
Thanks so much for taking the time to compare the v1 and v2 - I really appreciate it. Also the Biosphere albums were great recommendations, I hadn't heard of them before. Anyway, thank you again - your feedback (and enthusiasm) was exactly the push I needed.
Thanks! It’s inspiring to hear you enjoyed the track. My biggest takeaway is to nurture authenticity and not compromise its uniqueness, since that’s so rare these days. As for the track, it belongs to an unreleased instrumental album inspired by a time and place in history—when people flocked to Missouri in the late 1800s, believing the natural springs had healing properties. Turns out the healing happened just from the relaxation of spending time by water. I’ll share it with you sometime, Thanks again.
Hi Perc, thanks for your feedback. I’ll check all the advice for upgrading the track. Have a good day, best regards.
Biggups man x
Thank you so much for the super quick and detailed review !! I will work on everything that you said and I hope that I will be able to play the track soon at clubs and parties !
- d
Fantastic feedback and what a super fast response! I've implemented a few of the ideas and tweaks you suggested and the track is sounding better already and I'm much happier with it now. Thanks mate will definitely be asking for feedback again!
Thanks, directions. A quick note on what would catch you attention, transients and your sets, not bandcamp, somewhere, would be nice. Not sure if you read what i sent you on facebook, nevermind, but some information would be great, as i will continue with that work right away. all my best, nico
Extremely thoughtful, earnest, heartfelt, deep dive and encouraging feedback from a skillful listener and great artist. Very much appreciated this video. Thank you Ali!
Thanks so much for the feedback! I really appreciate how thoughtful and detailed it was. It means a lot that you took the time to focus on things that could help me specifically, it really gives me something to work with.
- M
Thanks a ton for the detailed feedback and addressing each point. I will work on those adjustments. If anyone is reading this, I def recommend Perc. Super on point about everything. Cheers
Ivorys feedback was fantasticooo! He helped me a lot and answered my many questions very precisely.
Hi again Perc, thank you for the great feedback on the 2nd version. Your feedback worked very well, and I will use Crack with the maximizer engaged to get a couple more Lufs. I really appreciate that you provided great actionable feedback on a track which is quite different from your sound. So, for those who are reading this, don't let that stop you from asking feedback. Also, thank you for being so quick to provide feedback, I really appreciate it!
-
Dear Perc, Thank you for the thorough review and replying so quickly. Your feedback is very clear and actionable. I will work on the track and send it again for your second feedback. Many thanks! Ricardo (aka The Last Raft)
Thank you so much, you gave me ideas I didn't thought of.

Receiving feedback from Dauwd was such an exciting and rewarding experience. As an artist I deeply admire, hearing his thoughts on my track meant so much to me. I was especially happy to hear him say, “I’m not really sure what to suggest for you, but I’m sure you’ll find something—it’s a really well-made track.” Coming from someone of his calibre, this validation was incredibly reassuring, especially when thinking about sending the track to record labels. His suggestions, like adjusting the mids on the pads and softening the distortion on the drums, were practical and insightful. They helped me see how small refinements can elevate the track even further while maintaining its essence. I also appreciated his encouragement to add more surprises in the arrangement, which has inspired me to think more creatively about keeping the listener engaged. Thank you so much, Dauwd, for your thoughtful and encouraging feedback:)! It’s been a real highlight in my journey as an artist and has left me feeling inspired and confident as I move forward.
Thanks for putting your time in. getting to hear from you really helps my confidence. highly recommend.
this is perfect. thank so much. super helpful and quick as always:)
- G
Thank you so much for your thoughtful advice and sharing some of your expertise. The feedback was comprehensive, good value, covering the bigger picture but also going into lots of detail with really helpful suggestions I wouldn't have otherwise thought about ensuring that my track evolve into something spectacular!

Thanks Chris! Great feedback in terms of actionable items to consider within the track and highlighting what is working well/what parts of the track to embrace.

Thank you so much, Jennifer, for your response to my difficult question. I really appreciate all your recommendations. Even though I kind of understood most of them myself, it's good to hear them again from such a trusted person as you. It gives me the inspiration to keep working on it as well as try few new options from your list and finally reach my goals.
Hello! Thank you so much for your feedback and your kind words, Jennifer. It gave me some ideas to improve the arrangement and make it a more solid track. Thanks again and sending my best. A.

Jen, it was really a pleasure to gain insight into my track by you... i love the angle you suggested and i am already hard at work to craft a new version based on your wisdom. Hopefully this new version will gain inclusion in the forthcoming Echio Academy compilation. Much love to you and Echio. You both have something great & vital going here for the next wave of producers/djs coming. Merci! Dash UK ( www.instagram.com/dashukmusic )

Τhe last few months, some of my songs were rejected for the mix, that's why my questions were aimed there. Οf course I'm interested in your opinion and about the rest of the approach to the idea and the arrangement also..
Thanks Ivory! Really positive and constructive feedback/advice. Going to take it all on board and will send you a revised track when ready. Thanks again.

Thank you so much for your time and for your advices. It really makes sense to me and means a lot. I will do an extended version trying to make it a bit longer and adding some more analog feel. Very detailed and useful feedback! We followed your good tips to improve our track. Thank you Ivory !
-
Thanks for the very thorough feedback Ivory, super helpful!

Thank you so much for taking the time to give me feedback - I appreciate it and will look to implement your comments and suggestions. Regarding your question, I am using a Serum bass preset for the bass, which I remove during the first break (for 16 bars), and bring it back in as I add new and re-add existing elements.
Sei una bravissima persona. Grazie per le bellissime parole!
-
Dear Gui, many thanks for your feedback. Here my rework after your helpful feedback. I only applied to the mixdown a limitier +9.8 db, so mixdown has some loudness, no mastering done. Brought me lot of help and joy to see your feedback movie <3 - would be great to get your feedback on this version 2 - big hug from Switzerland, Mewa
- D
Thank you, great feedback! I was struggling a bit with the synthlead before the second drop so I agree it could be done better. As soon as I have time I’ll try to implement your suggestions :-) Overall very helpful and inspiring response.
-
I received really great feedback for my demo and will make the corrections needed in order for the track to be perfect. Thank you so much for your time Ivory and will resend another demo as soon as it's complete :)
Thank you so much Ivory!!! I Really enjoy your feedback!! Thanks for your time!
Excellent feedback! Thank you so much for all of your advices and information! Very friendly and willing to help!

Hallo lieber Sascha, vielen Dank für dein Feedback! .
Big thanks to Ivory for his review. Now I am more confident in my work and know what to pay attention to. I wish you do not to burn out in your creativity!

Frequently asked questions
Music feedback
-
The artist records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
-
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
-
MP3, WAV or AIF, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so the artist knows exactly what to focus on.
-
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If the artist hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
-
You can swap the track as long as the artist hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
-
Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.
