Originally from New Zealand, Dilby is taking the world by storm with his unique take on underground music. Crafted from a classic house and techno palette but presented with a fresh modern twist. His sound is rich, warm and musical, but aimed squarely at the dance floor. His music is a mainstay at the top of the charts on Beatport, where he is consistently amongst the highest selling artists in Deep House, thanks in part to his No.1 smash hit ‘Remember Me’. In 2022 Beatport named Dilby No.3 in the top trending artists, has achieved several genre-specific top 10’s on iTunes and racked up millions of streams on spotify. Dilby’s passion and talent for electronic music is evident in the creative and innovative sound coming from his studio. A sound that sees him featured on some of the scene’s most respected labels 8bit, Crosstown Rebels/Rebellion, Sudbeat, Poker Flat Recordings, Saved, Bondage Music, Deeperfect, Bar25 Music, Glasgow Underground, Circus Recordings, Selador, Deepalma...

The master of feedbacks is here at Echio! When I saw Dilby, I immediately sent him a track I was planning to release. He not only responded quickly but provided an incredible 17-minute detailed feedback, which I truly appreciate. His insights help not just with this track but also with tips and tricks useful for any artist. The Metal Dreams reference was spot on, and the sound comes from the Buchla Aesel VST preset "Blame Yourself For Everything," which is absolutely beautiful. I’m always tempted to use it, but its uniqueness makes it so recognizable that it might feel like copying. Thanks again, Dilby, for the thoughtful feedback. I hope to make this a regular part of my pre-release process!

Getting feedback from an artist like Dilby is a true gift. His music consistently elevates the energy on the dancefloor, so we deeply value his expertise and keen ears. We sought to take our track to the next level, and Dilby's detailed, thoughtful feedback exceeded our expectations. It felt as though we were in the studio with him—he had our track in Ableton, pinpointing where our mixdown and arrangement needed improvement. His actionable advice, from mixing to structure, gave us the clarity we needed to finish the track. He also made us feel that the time and effort we have been putting in the studio is going somewhere haha. Every producer knows the challenge of over-listening to their own work, but Dilby’s insights saved our track from the Ableton graveyard. He helped us move past self-doubt and focus our energy where it mattered most. We can’t recommend his services enough and look forward to sending him more music for his tasteful reviews.

Dilby man, great feedback. As you said getting that perspective can be daunting but you've helped me make a solid list of ways I can improve this tune. One follow-up question, you mentioned you had a reference track I should check out in mind but did not mention the track name. Would love to check it out, alongside any other tracks you could recommend as reference points. Thanks again!
