What producers say
Straight to the point feedback that makes the difference when it comes to finish tracks. Frankey is the best!
Amazing feedback especially notes on the tones and keys for the adjusted bass line. Thanks
I highly recommend it! The feedback from Stimming was very constructive, honest and funny too. It really helped me make my tracks more professional and sound better. His approach to giving feedback was personally very suitable and helpful for me. And thanks to Echio for this great platform.
-
Thanks Aikon
- R
Many thanks. Your time, attention and thoughts are greatly appreciated. And, thanks to the Echio Team, such a great platform:)
- R
Hi Martin, thank you very much for taking all the time you did to listen and then talk about my track - it was wonderful. You picked it like a dirty nose with regard to the bass line situation ;)) 100%. Your feedback was fantastic. I look forward to the process again in the future. You are the man. Take care.
Martin is a super positive, nice person, and of course a true professional. Thank you for your detailed feedback and helpful advice!
- d
Hey Stimming, thank you for your feedback, it was realy on point as I was thinking of some of what you said. I appreciate both the content and the delivery of your feedbacks! I'll try the chords you suggest which resonates with me and see how it goes. Thank you for suggesting these! Great review! It really motivates me and I'm glad you found the track cool :D
- O
Thank you for the eye opening feedback - honest, detailed, constructive. With this new perspective I'm motivated to rethink/rework the track and also work on new stuff.
- n
Thank you so much for this! Super super helpful and prompt feedback. I like how direct it was, getting to the core things. I also found it super helpful how you sang certain parts and used certain tones, to then suggest how to improve. Will def be coming back here :)
- n
I sent tracks to Stimming because I really love the quality of his productions, and find his music to be exceptionally cool and unique. It’s a high bar to reach, and if I could ever get close, I’d be a happy chap! But what you get with his feedback is, not surprisingly, really honest. To have Stimming’s reactions and aesthetic nuances applied to your ideas is so valuable, even if it sends you back to square one with your productions. It has inspired me to rethink my song, and possibly send a follow up draft.
-
Hey Stimming Thanks for your valuable feedback and time "bit too loud, squashed" => you are right, I 'll remove the limiter on the master bus to get breathe back the hidden word is "More.. Moooore" :) I guess I shoud change it if you could not tell it was (not yoghurt :)))))))))) "technically good track": I take it, thanks ! Arrangement : agree on the workflow (trying tracks combinations) "Too straight forward" Cool that you like the break and the fast arpeggio Too many fills "tatatata" :))) less triplets AMADEUS picture : send me your email adress and I will show you a picture of my "theater" studio monitors :) Thanks a lot Stimming, you are the best!
- n
Thank you for your speedy feedback on my track! I needed help with it, and I wasn’t sure exactly how to go with it. Your comments and advice, both on the musical and technical aspects, have been really useful.
- j
Thanks dude! Cheers for lending your ears and expertise and giving me a nudge in the right direction. Legend!
-
Amazing feedback and really helpful. My name is Inder haha. Im going to work on the edits you mentioned and send an updated version. The Rihanna style vocal was from a sample pack but im thinking of removing it to make the track a bit more stripped back. Thank you for the feedback.
- O
Constructive feedback thank you, has given me a lot to work with :)
My Email: theokoustas@gmail.com Thanks for your very warm feedback, means a lot! Hope to hear from you soon! It was so much fun making this, and thats what matters not the $$$$ ! Much love Theo

- O
Great detailed and constructive feedback that was super fast. Thank you!!!
- L
Thanks Stimming for your feedback. I will do my best to improve my song. Merry Christmas
this is perfect. thank so much. super helpful and quick as always:)
Stimming managed to create a comprehensive, professional, exhaustive, and at times entertaining review. Just what I needed. He answered all my doubts, and not only that, he went deep to make me understand the fundamental problems of my track. I highly recommend. Great person and great artist.
- M
Thanks for the great feedback. Very detailed and lots to takeaway!
Stimmings thoughtful critique of my recent submission helped to pull me from the writing loop we can all get stuck in from time to time. His guidance is truly invaluable.
- s
Yo!! Wow I was in Europe when you sent this and totally missed it. Thanks so much for getting back! Going to follow up with an email. Also, you totally nailed this feedback. You did the same thing with the Sassy track I sent you, but the part you recommended removing was originally later in the song after another chorus, and I had written it separately as a bridge just to get better with my songwriting chops. When I shortened it I added it here instead and it definitely stood out to me too as a sore thumb. This definitely confirms that so I'm going to try something else. I'd love to get a session with you though where we actually go through what you'd recommend with the drums in an example so I have something to go off of. Thanks agani! Best, Sam
- S
Thank you for the feedback samer. I know this track isn't indie house or a pure melodic techno and to be honest i'm not aiming to some lables, just going with what sounds good to the ear. You mentioned two drops but for me there's just the one after the breakdwon so i would like you to tell me what's the minute of the other drop that you refer to. I started to work on the things you mentioned and implemented some of the hi-hats and shakers in the intro of the track, will work on some other parts as well. Thank you!
Thanks as always Ivory!
-
Martin Stimming really is a true master of his craft. He does not mince words with his critiques, and you know invariably that his feedback comes from a true foundational and fundamental understanding of his art. To even get a small glimpse through his very honed lense opened my mind to gaping holes I had in my mixing and writing practices. Conversing with the master was an honor that was truly all mine.
- s
Thank you for the feedback, Ivory! I'm glad you really liked the track and the little touches you shared really helped. :)
-
Thanks mate, great honest feedback as always
-
Thanks mate, strong but definitely constructive feedback!
-
Thanks Ivory great feedback as always!
- a

Constructive feedback. Making the changes and taking everything you pointed out with great appreciation. I hope I can send you more tracks in the future. much love
Thank you very much for the feedback. Very detailed.... I will for sure follow with the suggestions. :)
-
Thank you Ivory, really glad you like my track and really appreciate having you as part of my production process to sense check and validate!!
Hey Daniel, yes I really like this version and your suggestions really helped me take it to the next level. I’m happy that it has your seal of approval as ‘ready to play!’ Thank you for taking the time - it means a lot ❤️
Hey Ivory, I am really happy that you liked my track :) . I have made the changes that you have suggested and I sent you more of my demos and promos on Instagram as Predex. You can download the updated version of the track on the demos link. 1st in the row. Thank you so much for the feedback :)

Thanks for more great honest feedback Ivory!!

I completely understand..thanks a lot🙏🙏
-
Hey Daniel, thank you so much for the feedback. I really appreciate you taking the time to listen and offer your suggestions!
Awesome! Thanks so much for the <3 on my track. I hope it serves you well on the dancefloor. Best, Kurt

Αs a beginner I'm trying to find small labels to send music for sure.. As for the specific ones you mentioned in amaeo i had send the track i think one month ago and the other 2 labels i think there is no demo submission..Anyway thanks a lot for the advice and everything!!I appreciate it a lot..
-
Τhe last few months, some of my songs were rejected for the mix, that's why my questions were aimed there. Οf course I'm interested in your opinion and about the rest of the approach to the idea and the arrangement also..
Amazing feedback. AIKON is truly a professional. Would love for you to review more of my tracks.
Thanks Ivory! Really positive and constructive feedback/advice. Going to take it all on board and will send you a revised track when ready. Thanks again.
Ciao Ivory! 💙
-
i just make some mixing changes and focus more on the volume of my drums and bass also..I don't know mastering process so i will ask a friend of mine to do that..thank you for your time..
-
Thank Ivory, Legend!!!
-
Thank you Ivory, awesome feedback!
-
Good morning!!nice to meet you too!!I’ll check it after work!!thanks a lot
- s
Thanks so much Martin! It was great to see you hear this with fresh ears. I completely agree with what you're saying and really appreciate you taking the time to pour through it. Also - that last drop section was originally a whole other section but I had cut the arrangement shorter and it was interesting that you heard the drop section not payoff. Definitely reinforces that I should complete the original arrangement as opposed to trying to make it shorter for dance norms... There's always radio edits for that :) You can expect a lot more coming from me! Thanks again
-
Thank you for the advice Ivory. I will be releasing the song next month.
One hundred percent agree with your insights, thanks a lot for taking the time to present this complete and honest review. This is very constructive and be sure it will have an impact in my producing. Best from Colombia.
Damn, that was FAST! Super happy with the feedback received, Ivory is a true artist and knows how to deliver quality feedback in a way that's both helpful and entertaining. He totally understood what I was trying to do with my track and he gave me the right directions in order to get the the next level. This guy is not just a freaking monster of a producer, but he's also very good with words and knows how to describe music in a very amusing way. Super cool!
- d
- v
Thanks for your informative feedback :)

You are the best, thanks for the details. ill be working on your advice and i hope to send you a better version soon. thanks.
-
Thanks Aikon, very useful and scientific feedback, legend!
- b
Very straightforward and eye opening feedback. I appreciate the honesty.
-
hey! thanks for taking your time, the mix was pretty bad, i turned the volume of of kick clap and i think it has more punch, also panned some stuf and did some of the arrangement ideas you talked about, i have the new version, hope you think its better. if you think the mix is still missing something please be as detailed as possible since that would help me the most so i can learn and change it. I am a huge fan, so this means alot. thanks.
Thanks maestro your feedback always helps me!
Haha. Danke Martin. Auch fürs 5x hören. Also, ja. Also, alles gut.

I am really grateful for Martins feedback and thoughts to my song. I really appreciate his taste and his way of making music, this is why his comments to it are resonating with me a lot. The song was actually finished, but I was not 100% happy and totally stuck in my decisions. He showed me his perspective to the song, which opened a lot and made me see the song "fresh". His feedback is extremely professional, analytically and emotional. I am really glad that I did send him the track. Thanks again Martin :)))
-
Thanks for more excellent feedback Ivory!
-
Cheers Ivory, thanks for the prompt and mindful reply, I really appreciate and it really make sense, will do!
Very detailed and useful feedback! We followed your good tips to improve our track. Thank you Ivory !

Thanks, Aikon! Really appreciate that helpful advice and your time. I hope our paths cross again, soon! Thanks again, Louis
Thank you so so much for your time and feedback, Martin! And thanks for that label suggestion <3

Hi Martin, I trust you are well, I just wanted to start off by saying a massive thank you for the amazing experience. Seeing your reaction to my song was surreal. Your advice was so spot-on and really showed me you spent time with the track. Thank you for reading the “story” and using it in your critique. I understood what you were saying (at least I hope I did!) and your insights were spot on. Sometimes I get, “Den Wald vor lauter Bäumen nicht sehen”, but I will say that I agree with your opinions. (not for me being a fan, but because you were right). After reflecting on all your advice, I went back to the drawing board and applied your creative advice with my interpretation of it. I did take a bit longer than expected, Perfectionism is my biggest strength/weakness. I'd love to get your take on the new version, giving you free rein to share your thoughts like last time. Hoping you'll enjoy the tweaks and changes inspired by your artistic input. Connecting with you creatively has been a special experience for me, one I won't forget. Who knows, maybe down the line, I'll get the chance to open for one of your shows. Thank you for your time and effort. Cale
- b
Really helpful feedback, gave specific feedback, both positive things and also constructive suggestions to help me improve.
- m

- E
Thanks for the kind feedback Martin! Have a good one :) - Carl
Davide
Thank u Ivory for your words, always helpful to get a direct feedback from someone I admire so much.
Hello again Stimming! I'm sorry for the lack of information provided... I did make all of those songs, and I poorly mixed them together last minute before I went to work that day! (I too am not a DJ) I had intended to submit them into the contest however I foolishly assumed the contest was free, once I discovered there was a fee it made me want to do more of a mix and I am glad I did because the song with the harsh low end was the only one I wished to send initially... and I was incredibly happy to hear what you had to say about my tracks and couldn't possibly ask for anything more. I'm eager to try and fix the flaw in the second track as well as search deeply for the file of the last. (I was most hesitant to send that one, funny how that works.) Thank you again so so much! I can't express my gratitude properly via the keyboard, however from now until forever I will consider your positive and encouraging words while making music. Wishing You The Best From San Francisco, Isaac Figueroa
- M
Thanks man - great, actionable advice. Rebuilding the mix from the groove up really helped flesh out track. Much happier with the sound now - hits harder. Cheers amigo!
Hi Martin, thank you very much for your honest and constructive feedback! Your suggestions are very well explained and totally make sense, I've already started to implement them. I already had sidechain compression on many sounds but I have now pushed the effect further to make it more audible. I just need to work more on that bass chorus layer until I'm satisfied with the sound. I'll be very happy to submit an updated version when I'm done. And to answer your question, yes I used a shimmer reverb :-) Thanks for your help, cheers, Sébastien
- E
Martin, Thanks so much for the very specific and honest feedback :) You have convinced me the particular element in questions is indeed "too much". The concept was 3 layers of this element (triple decker!) which change in pitch in opposite directions. I guess we naturally have quite strong reactions to mismatched tones, especially when they change so blatantly. I appreciate that you didn't try to sugarcoat that reaction. The outside perspective is quite helpful since of course I lose "fresh ears" after many playbacks. I removed the layers (now "Single decker") and I'll put this version on rotation for a while to see if it's possible to make peace with it now. Thanks again, Carl.
-
Grazie del feedback
- N
Perfect feedback, thank you so much! Totally agree with everything you said so I’m going to go away and tinker around with it and all the actionable points you suggested.
Hi Stimming!!! Thank you so much for your review!! I So great advices, really precise and definitely helpfull!!!! I will rework this next days. Nice afternoon!!
-
Thank you Stimming for your helpful feedback, its really encouraging that i am moving in the right direction. I found your advice very clear and I am going to have a go at all that you suggest....and the tips to improve my mixes I will give that a go also. Thank you very much!
Really enjoyed the feedback sessions with Ivory! He gave really great feedback as well as helping with the issues in regards to the track. would highly recommend
Wow, thank you SO much for your feedback! I completely understand everything you said and really appreciatie the time and effort you've put into it. Even though the mixing part is not my favourite, I feel inspired by your advise and will crack on with it. ^^ I'll keep an eye on your agenda for when you're in amsterdam! Ciao, Jeroen
How does music feedback work?
- 1 Pick an artist Choose an artist from Diynamic you'd love to send your music to.
- 2 Upload your music Upload your track(s) and tell the artist why you're sending this demo to get the most helpful feedback.
- 3 Get feedback Receive private video feedback from the artist within a few days. You’ll get an automatic refund if an artist doesn’t answer.
Frequently asked questions
Music feedback
-
The artist records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
-
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
-
MP3, WAV or AIF, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so the artist knows exactly what to focus on.
-
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If the artist hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
-
You can swap the track as long as the artist hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
-
Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.
