Kassian

About

Kassian is an exploration of Techno, Bass and Electronica from London duo Warren Cummings and Joe Danvers. Since forming in 2019, they’ve evolved from groove-heavy house roots into a forward-thinking club act with releases on !K7, Heist, Phonica and Shall Not Fade. Their imprint Faux Poly has become a respected outlet in its own right, now reaching its 20th release — a new Kassian EP marking their return to the label. Their music continues to draw support from leading selectors including Ben UFO, Four Tet, Floating Points, Caribou and Dixon. Following their Phase Two and Supercontinent EPs on !K7 — the latter spotlighting standout cuts Yena and Pulgueiro Baile — Kassian released their debut album Channels in 2025 to widespread acclaim, including praise from Pitchfork. The duo have built a global reputation through appearances at Panorama Bar, Watergate, Love International and Kala, alongside tours across the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and most recently India.

Frequently asked questions

Music feedback

Kassian records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
MP3, WAV or AIF, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so Kassian knows exactly what to focus on.
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If Kassian hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
You can swap the track as long as Kassian hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.
