I had already followed a few of Chris’ tutorials online, and the track I sent was based on those techniques, so I thought it would be great to get his input on what I created. Chris sent an in-depth walk-through of 2 essential elements for me to improve on, that would get the track ready for a large sound system. I was vaguely aware of these things, but having them methodically explained, and understanding their implications on the mix outside of my studio speakers has made me more confident in delivering a better result. I’m already applying these principles to other tracks and can hear the results. Chris’ style is thoughtful and thorough, providing step-by-step examples and comparing to other well-known artists to see how they implement these techniques. Great experience! Thank you.
