Azu really listened very carefully to what I sent her. She responded very politely and had great ideas to evolve the track!

Thank you for this prompt and on the spot feedback! This really hit the spot and kicked off very helpful thoughts not just for this track but all future productions and the process. Will have and keep that in mind now throughout!

Hey man, thanks so much for the quick turn around. All of that makes sense. I have to say, this is the part of the arrangement I dread...I'm not a stickler for detail, I prefer the bigger picture. But you;ve given me some nice and simple ideas to get things spiced up. I like the idea of bring other lead sounds behind the current one to perk the sound up. Can I ask a question? What reverbs are best for sending hats/perc too? Are rooms best? I'll get you a new version sent over asap. I'm excited about this track.

This is OUTSTANDING feedback. I will definitely make a drier and cleaner version as you suggest. It is an issue I often face and you have nailed it. Good point on sub and arrangement too. Very motivating and I am glad you liked it. I am away on hols now but will get a new version to you as soon as. Thanks so much man

Frequently asked questions

Music feedback

The artist records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
MP3, WAV or AIF, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so the artist knows exactly what to focus on.
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If the artist hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
You can swap the track as long as the artist hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.
