Ruede Hagelstein

About

I have traveled the world as a DJ for two decades and have been a resident at Berlin's Watergate for more than 10 years. This always went hand in hand with my own music production, which I released on many international labels since 2003. Not much has changed to this day, except that on weekends I hang out in the studio rather than at the airport and take care of my own label DUAT Records, manage New Tab Music and Vertere Music and founded a publishing company to promote young talent. I mix and co-produce a lot of other artists and help them get released on big labels such as Innervisions, Crosstown Rebels or Get Physical. For a while now you can also find tutorials from me on the internet. I like mentoring and sharing my knowledge..

Music Feedback

Hey Ruede, thank you for the constructive and detailed feedback. It was really valuable to hear that I should focus on one mood and consider separating the sounds into two tracks - a more positive vibe and a darker one. I think you are 100% correct! Thanks again, and good luck with your studio move.

Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
