What producers say
Straight to the point feedback that makes the difference when it comes to finish tracks. Frankey is the best!
- N
Hey Ian, Thanks a lot for your feedback. It really helped me with learning to create a flow in a track that makes it better for use in sets, not just a "standalone" track like I would have normally produced. It sheds new light to my productions and I can't be more thankful for that. The final tweaks have been made and I think I can conclude that we have a finished track now. Thanks again for the feedback!
-
Thanks a lot Ian for the precious feedback
-
Thank you so much Aera - again very useful tips that can help me get 20% in quality I believe - will implement :) The background loop was intentional but probably not relevant as it stands now, as you would not be asking otherwise if it was intentional :)) Will let you know when track will be released (end of year) And send some other stuff in the mean time best g
- A
Aera's feedback was very detailed, and I was able to go back and make the change he suggested, which definitely improved the track!
-
Thank you so much Aera, very relevant feedback. You are right on the disto/overdrive for the lead, the un synced hihat (came from a very creative but dodgy shaperbox envelope, not warping :), the hi hat arrangement inconsistency, the second break which should be quieter, etc. Yesterday evening I applied pretty much every points you gave and new version sounds 20% better to us - so I guess this is mission fullfilled :) We'll try the track in our next gigs and see how it goes. Will keep you posted. Best, g
Always top tier feedback, very specific and helpful! Thanks
-
Really helpful thank you Ian!
- A
I loved the live feedback!! That was really cool and honest. Can't wait to update the track and send it again. Thanks, Henrik!
Hey Ian, thank you so much for the time you took reviewing this track, I just applied your wise advices on it, and sent the whole EP for mastering, and it sounds incredibly good ! Thanks again, and if you want to follow along my journey it would mean the world to me, my instagram is @kleek_here, I'll aim to see you in Paris the 13th of June and hope the records will be out at this moment ! Wishing you all the best, and I hope to see you around 🪩

Super useful feedback! I’ve already started applying his suggestions and immediately realized that the direction he pointed out is definitely the right one. Sometimes, what I really need is a professional and experienced external ear — and Kadosh truly represents that kind of insight in today’s modern scene.

Thanks Ian!

Thank you for the feedback! Great input on adding an additional melodic layer and also extending a bit so it can work as a DJ tool. Thanks Aera.
-
Great feedback as always, thank you!
-
Amazing and so helpful. There are so many things im still trying to hone in on when making music and Henrik always gives really precise and motivational feedback! Thank you
-
so helpful. Aeras feedback is really precise and always helps!
-
Amazing feedback, really appreciate your time and very specific tips. Will send you an updated version. I tweaked the vocal a bit and will work on cutting it down
Hello Ian, Many thanks for the feedback. Yes, I don't have any musical theory background and it is something that I will start study immediately. No doubt it is my biggest fault. By the way, the steps sound are from JuraSynth - a Juno emulation for MPC ONE . I love it so much that I want to buy a real Juno! But first, music theory. P.S . The weather is great here!
Ivorys feedback was fantasticooo! He helped me a lot and answered my many questions very precisely.
- d
Thanks Ian for the prompt and detailed feedback. It's great to get some experienced and knowledgable ears on my track and you've picked out things that I did not notice myself. I'll certainly implement your suggestions and look forward to hearing the results!
-

this is perfect. thank so much. super helpful and quick as always:)
-
sorry Henrik I did not answered earlier - thanks a lot for your detailed feedback. Everything you said make total sense, however I decided the track to be released in its original form with the voice because I got fatigue on the process of finding a melody ;) and needed to keep things moving forward - you know what I mean :) Thanks again for the energy you provided to me by feeding me back on this. best, g&d
Thanks as always Ivory!
- s

I completely understand..thanks a lot🙏🙏
- s
thank you! i definitely agree with the arrangement needing to be tightened and this gave me some ideas for that. thanks for taking the time to listen :)
-

Αs a beginner I'm trying to find small labels to send music for sure.. As for the specific ones you mentioned in amaeo i had send the track i think one month ago and the other 2 labels i think there is no demo submission..Anyway thanks a lot for the advice and everything!!I appreciate it a lot..
-
Τhe last few months, some of my songs were rejected for the mix, that's why my questions were aimed there. Οf course I'm interested in your opinion and about the rest of the approach to the idea and the arrangement also..
Thanks Ivory! Really positive and constructive feedback/advice. Going to take it all on board and will send you a revised track when ready. Thanks again.
Ciao Ivory! 💙
-
i just make some mixing changes and focus more on the volume of my drums and bass also..I don't know mastering process so i will ask a friend of mine to do that..thank you for your time..
-
Thank Ivory, Legend!!!
-
Thank you Ivory, awesome feedback!
-
Good morning!!nice to meet you too!!I’ll check it after work!!thanks a lot
Thank you for the advice Ivory. I will be releasing the song next month.
Damn, that was FAST! Super happy with the feedback received, Ivory is a true artist and knows how to deliver quality feedback in a way that's both helpful and entertaining. He totally understood what I was trying to do with my track and he gave me the right directions in order to get the the next level. This guy is not just a freaking monster of a producer, but he's also very good with words and knows how to describe music in a very amusing way. Super cool!
- d
Super veloce nel dare il feedback, molto gentile e da molti spunti su cui riflettere e lavorare.

-
Ivory thank you so so much! This is absolutely great feedback and I truly appreciate it a lot!
Hey Henrik. Wow, thanks a lot for taking the time to listen and for the feedback! Super super happy you liked the track :) I will send an updated version soon!! Have fun. Oli
-
Henrik - thank you so much for your real time feedback - it is amazing to see your reactions on every part of the track - it made our day, at least the first 2 min before the vocals :) We could see you stop vibing straight away when the vocal came - hahaha And ...we think you are right that vocals remove something from the track more than adding anything. Instruments don't need this. We also get your feedback on mixing (drumness of the bass / snare openess / small speaker bass translation). Let us few days to get back to you with an updated version :)))) Thanks again, your review put a big smile our face g&d
-
Thanks for more excellent feedback Ivory!

-
Thank you very much for your feedback, helps me a lot, I will work on it and send it back to you.
Sei una bravissima persona. Grazie per le bellissime parole!
-
- D
Thank you, great feedback! I was struggling a bit with the synthlead before the second drop so I agree it could be done better. As soon as I have time I’ll try to implement your suggestions :-) Overall very helpful and inspiring response.
-
I received really great feedback for my demo and will make the corrections needed in order for the track to be perfect. Thank you so much for your time Ivory and will resend another demo as soon as it's complete :)
Thank you so much Ivory!!! I Really enjoy your feedback!! Thanks for your time!
Excellent feedback! Thank you so much for all of your advices and information! Very friendly and willing to help!
-
Skatman really knows how to improve a track and help the producer to know what they want, they also feedback a career improvment to me, 10/10, not doubt the best feedback i already received from a dj that inspires me!
Big thanks to Ivory for his review. Now I am more confident in my work and know what to pay attention to. I wish you do not to burn out in your creativity!
what can i say? im thankfull and happy to get a detailed input on what can i improve on the track and he made some good points that i wasnt really sure but easy to fix ...
Wow, thank you so much for this and the kind words! Really made my day :)
- h
Thank you for the feedback and I'm really happy you liked the track. I thought the master I received was pushing it too hard, and I feel validated that you felt the same way. I'll try to give it a go myself and send you a follow up. Appreciate your help!
- M
Thanks a lot Henrik ! The point of waking hard every day on Design, art direction is that I have such a pressure every week, so I feel kind of too tired when I have one or two days free from the computer. I wish I can have more time and a free mind to really dedicate to it. Anyway, I'm dj as well and I love when I have free time to play gigs. What would you change on the track? Would you be so king and guide me on it ? Deffinetly I'm not happy with the snares anymore, and as you said, the arrangement need to be much better, but I'm afraid I'm still not on that level to make it rock. I Have started a new version of it, like a remix, but I haven't touched the track anymore for a year or more. Crazy, isn't it?! I like your music and I play Feeling you always when there's a proper vibe. cheers again
Really great feedback, very complete and on point of I what I was looking for. Excited to know what he thinks about the second version.

Frequently asked questions
Music feedback
-
The artist records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
-
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
-
MP3, WAV or AIF, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so the artist knows exactly what to focus on.
-
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If the artist hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
-
You can swap the track as long as the artist hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
-
Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.
