Coflo Ferreira (San Francisco / Bay Area, California) is an international touring DJ, music producer, dancer, Capoeirista, and audio engineer. His work sits at the intersection of underground dance culture, technical precision, and embodied movement. Coflo produces house and electronic music and has released as a featured artist on labels including Sacred Medicine (Joe Claussell / Ron Trent), Yoruba (Osunlade), Freerange (Jimpster), and Cataleya. He is the founder of Catch The Ghost and LoudCat Music, platforms for original productions and forward-thinking collaborations. He is also a member of the Soulshifters collective and the dance crew Circle of Fire. In addition to his artist career, Coflo is currently a mix engineering educator and course designer at Detroit’s premier music production school, the Underground Music Academy, where he mentors emerging producers and engineers.

    Appreciate you taking the time to really listen and give detailed feedback, it means a lot. For this track, I handled the composition and vocal recording. The beat was sourced from BeatStars, but your feedback definitely gave me a better sense of direction for how I want to grow moving forward. Right now, I’m just looking to connect with a producer who understands my vision and can work well with my vibe. On the next track, I’ll keep your suggestions in mind and use them as a reference for whoever helps with the production, mix, and master so everything comes together more naturally.
