Appreciate you taking the time to really listen and give detailed feedback, it means a lot.
For this track, I handled the composition and vocal recording. The beat was sourced from BeatStars, but your feedback definitely gave me a better sense of direction for how I want to grow moving forward.
Right now, I’m just looking to connect with a producer who understands my vision and can work well with my vibe. On the next track, I’ll keep your suggestions in mind and use them as a reference for whoever helps with the production, mix, and master so everything comes together more naturally.
Also, I’ve been studying different artists lately, James Blake being one of them, so I really appreciate that reference, it lines up with where I’m trying to go.
Appreciate you again for the insight.
Highly recommend - one of the most insightful feedback videos I’ve received. I really appreciate the depth, care and time that was put into this. Hearing the track broken down from a dancers perspective is also a HUGE plus. This kind of detailed, experience-driven feedback is hard to come by!
10 out of 10!
Thanks for the feedback! Concise and to the point and I couldn't disagree with your suggestions/criticisms. I've worked on the track since taking your feedback and I believe it's in a much better condition now, thanks again!
wow. super fast response time and excellent and motivating feedback 🫶
took a few notes from the feedback and will work on the track considering jamies input. love it, made my day \o/ thank you jimpster
Jamie's feedback is detailed & insightful. He's picked up on elements that I know need some work. The main aim of the request for feedback was to understand whether I'd got the basics right in terms of mix & EQ. It was also to confirm that I was on the right track in terms of groove & content.
Jamie addressed these points perfectly & has given me some excellent pointers to get this topped, tailed
& shaped into a finished track.
Many thanks mate. I'll be in touch soon.
Huge thanks for such invaluable feedback, Jamie. All your points made absolute sense, and were put across extremely clearly. So great to get another perspective!
Hey Jimpster, thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback—I really appreciate you taking the time to listen. Your input genuinely elevated my track. Thanks again!
Thank you so much, Jimpster, for your incredibly helpful and detailed feedback – I truly appreciate the time and care you put into it!
You went through my track thoroughly from start to finish, catching even the smallest things—like tiny clicks in the bassline or where a crash could lift the energy. What really impressed me was how specific and actionable your advice was: from frequency ranges and filter tweaks to arrangement suggestions that actually made parts more interesting and musical.
You also pointed out what could be left out, which is just as valuable. And on top of that, the turnaround time was super quick!
It was an inspiring and very productive experience—I'll definitely be back for your feedback on my next track. Highly recommended to anyone looking for deep, musical and honest insight.
Jamie’s feedback was perfect. Super helpful notes, great changes suggested to elevate my tune and all really well explained. Really grateful for it and can’t recommend going to him enough.
very happy with the feedback - a huge help - can't wait to send you the updated version with all the tweaks and additions. The feedback is exactly what I need to do make this song a special one. Thanks Jimpster
It goes without saying that Fred Everything is one of the foremost producers in deep house today.
His insightful and well-balanced feedback was not only invaluable in improving the quality of my track, but also genuinely uplifting on a personal level. Thank you, Fred — your words made a real difference.
Amazingly-detailed feedback, and exactly what I was hoping for! Definitely given me food for thought and I can't wait to open up the project file and try out all the tweaks you suggested :)
Jimpster’s musical advice was spot on, and my track definitely improved thanks to his sharp ear and precise judgement. I’ll absolutely be reaching out to him again when I’ve got another track ready. Thank you, Jamie!!!!
Absolutely loved your feedback and brilliant in-depth tips for improving the track. I’ll work on it after Easter and hopefully get to send you a new and improved version. Happy Easter and all the best! Cheers!
Thanks for the constructive critique Mr.Fred.I had second a second guess about the arpeggiated synth melody your ear is greatly appreciated for the tasteful suggestions.I started making boom bap style hip hop music so the lo-fi comments lets me know I’m in the ball park I’d like to be in, enjoy your night/day!
Hey, sorry I'm late giving feedback. Thanks you so much for this, i definitely have to keep my musicality in check when i'm trying to make house, i struggle with keeping it simple but interesting. I'm working on a new mix and arrangment following your advice, this track is a couple of years old so i'm having to re-work some stuff due to out of date plugin versions . My name isn't eithafol it's just what I use on all my socials (ig & soundlcoud, spotify basically). My real name is that pronouncable either ... Bedwyr. The drums were already going through a tape sim, I'm working on a different buss arrangment for this mix, grouped the kick and bas separately, rest of the drums still going to the drum buss. I'm also applying some of the knowledge i've gained over the last couple of years. I agree with the overuse of the sample, in fact i'm working on the whole arrangment without the sample to make sure i works without it, then i'll bring some of it back in, hopefully tastefully! I'll probably send another track for your opinion after i've finished wokring on this one. Thanks again.
Once again thank you for the professional response!Im open to everything that can be objectively honed in and I’m flattered to hear the arrangement is fine. The mix down tips are greatly appreciated I had a feeling that the low mids had too much going on.I will be revising that soon, and get you an updated cleaner version. Thanks for helping me develop my craft in a positive direction, cheers to you and your awesome work Fred 🫡
Thank you very much for taking your time to give professional feedback Fred!I will revisit the track with your considerations in mind, as well as future sessions I get into. This won’t be the last time I will be submitting on here, I appreciate this very much
Thanks for the feedback. I will definitely revisit and make some changes as per your comments. Very helpful for future tracks too. This has been the first track I managed to somewhat finish in a long time so need to try and keep momentum. I'm in the process of changing the vocal hook to something with more longevity, I agree the pitched down thing is done already. Thanks so much.

Frequently asked questions
Music feedback
The artist records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
MP3 or WAV, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so the artist knows exactly what to focus on.
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If the artist hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
You can swap the track as long as the artist hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
Yes — you send a private message on the feedback page and the artist will get your comment.
