Ayesha

About

Fresh off releasing her debut album 'Rhythm Is Memory', Ayesha's musical approach embodies her knack for trippy psychedelic sound design, channeling percussive techno rhythms and UK soundsystem pressure in equal measure. The result is forward-thinking visceral music, tailored to the dance floor. A regular on NYC label Kindergarten Records, Ayesha's tracks span labels like Fever AM, Scuffed Recordings, Controlfreak Recordings, Femme Culture, Daytimers UK and more. When it comes to demo feedback, Ayesha aims to give Echio users a very personalized and granular time-stamped response. Her feedback videos for this reason can range between 10 and 20 minutes in duration. She believes there is an art to communicating feedback with respect, empathy and clarity. Please note that during musically busy periods she may take a week or two to get back to requests, but the feedback is worth the wait :-)

Thanks for the feedback! It was really motivating to hear I'm on the right track and I totally see what you mean by getting a bit more high end energy and adding some subtle variations. I'll also sit down and try to do a cleaner mixdown so the bass punches through without getting too muddy. Super helpful, thanks again.

Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
