Tim Grein Jul 6, 2026 Feedback from Perc

Perc provided some very detailed feedback on the technical side (details about mastering/normalization), creative part (where to add an element and why) and also on the industry/label aspect suggesting a few labels, which I didn't know before suiting perfectly my style. I can recommend anyone to get feedback from him, really had the feeling that he took his time to listen carefully and think about valuable feedback!

Hi Ali, thank you for the detailed feedback — really appreciated. I've been following you for six years and I love your sound, so your input carries real weight. I use Echio as a pre-final stage before mastering, and some of your suggestions — especially the low-mid groove — are exactly the outside perspective I needed. Looking forward to sending the next version. Best wishes for the tour!

Hi Perc, thank you so much, your feedback has been very valuable and I hope to put it to good use. Also, what you said about more modern production was something I hadn't explicitly mentioned, but you brought it up as an issue, and that's very important to me. I'm really glad I asked you for the deep dive, and I'll definitely do it again. See you soon, Aleks

Thanks so much for taking the time to compare the v1 and v2 - I really appreciate it. Also the Biosphere albums were great recommendations, I hadn't heard of them before. Anyway, thank you again - your feedback (and enthusiasm) was exactly the push I needed.

Thanks, directions. A quick note on what would catch you attention, transients and your sets, not bandcamp, somewhere, would be nice. Not sure if you read what i sent you on facebook, nevermind, but some information would be great, as i will continue with that work right away. all my best, nico

Hi again Perc, thank you for the great feedback on the 2nd version. Your feedback worked very well, and I will use Crack with the maximizer engaged to get a couple more Lufs. I really appreciate that you provided great actionable feedback on a track which is quite different from your sound. So, for those who are reading this, don't let that stop you from asking feedback. Also, thank you for being so quick to provide feedback, I really appreciate it!
