Thank you for this prompt and on the spot feedback! This really hit the spot and kicked off very helpful thoughts not just for this track but all future productions and the process. Will have and keep that in mind now throughout!
Whereas in my first track, I got a part-by-part deconstruction and analysis and how to improve on it, in this response, I got a much-needed talk on how to find my own sound (regarding the initial input I provided), and how to navigate certain aspects of not just music production, but also on what to focus my energy and attention in regards to my electronic music journey as a whole. I think everyone who's just starting out needs to hear that from someone with more experience, because, in the end, it's the cohesion of all of the elements that makes you as an artist stand out.
Thank you object blue!
Thank you for the analysis and feedback on my track. Coming in, I did not know what to expect out of this, but the response was structured just the way I was hoping it would be, with a technical breakdown of certain components, suggestions, and, most importantly, the analysis did not pander to me, but rather there was honesty on things where I did not do a good job, where I need to rethink my composition and what can I do to make it come to life. I will be taking those suggestions back to my DAW and see how best to apply them in a remix of my track, and then get back for some additional feedback.
Thank you object blue!
Thanks very much. A worthwhile exercise. Really useful and practical points delivered in a constructive manner. Your knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise shines through
Hey man, thanks so much for the quick turn around. All of that makes sense. I have to say, this is the part of the arrangement I dread...I'm not a stickler for detail, I prefer the bigger picture. But you;ve given me some nice and simple ideas to get things spiced up. I like the idea of bring other lead sounds behind the current one to perk the sound up. Can I ask a question? What reverbs are best for sending hats/perc too? Are rooms best?
I'll get you a new version sent over asap. I'm excited about this track.
This is OUTSTANDING feedback. I will definitely make a drier and cleaner version as you suggest. It is an issue I often face and you have nailed it. Good point on sub and arrangement too. Very motivating and I am glad you liked it. I am away on hols now but will get a new version to you as soon as. Thanks so much man
Thanks a lot! I appreciate your suggestions! I've already made some adjustments based on them, so the track started to sound better, I believe :)

Hey man,
Thank you so much for such incredibly detailed and helpful feedback, really appreciate how quick you got back to me and how detailed you were! I am going to go back to the piece and try to implement some of the feedback you had. Will share the final version!
Thank you!
Thanks a lot for deep & comprehensive feedback, really detailed & from your subjective point of view which I except from a feedback. Thanks for your ideas & tips! My perspective expanded well after hearing the tonal balance & arrangement alternatives, I will filter them and a/b test all <3 it is the perfect way to give feedback!
Excellent feedback– very constructive, honest, and helpful. Thank you!

Frequently asked questions
Music feedback
The artist records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
MP3, WAV or AIF, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so the artist knows exactly what to focus on.
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If the artist hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
You can swap the track as long as the artist hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.
