Robert James

About

It’s been 16 years since Robert James first decided to drop everything and head to the island of Ibiza for what was was to be a life-changing season. Over the past 16 years he has gained the respect of his peers, idols and fans alike, combining a deep-seated love for house and techno with a natural flair and the kind of experience one can only achieve through a constant flow of gigs. Renowned as an adept producer too, Rob has travelled the world, spinning records at a long list of highly respected, influential clubs like Panorama Bar, Fabric and DC10 where he held a residency for 8 years plus a slew of international gigs. In recent times he has invested his time in his label Body Movement, which is just about to reach its 10th release, which followed his debut album Battle Of The Planets. His recent work has allowed him to explore his eclectic tastes further and dig deeper into his record collection. As these projects build Rob is excited for what’s next in his career, and he couldn’t

Music feedback

Robert James records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
MP3 or WAV, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so Robert James knows exactly what to focus on.
