I am a composer, music producer and jazz drummer. I produce, mix and release dance music as Paleman and I compos music for films and release experimental electronic and ambient music as Fresnel Lens. I have been a professional musician for around 10 years, and before that I studied music formally at Chethams School of Music before continuing my jazz drums and composition studies at degree level at Trinity College of Music In London. I love timbre, mood, and the power of music. I'm more than happy to discuss your music and provide feedback and really believe I can help you, and express that help and feedback in a way that will translate to musicians of all levels. :)

Frequently asked questions

Music feedback

Paleman records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
MP3 or WAV, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so Paleman knows exactly what to focus on.
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If Paleman hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
You can swap the track as long as Paleman hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
Yes — you send a private message on the feedback page and Paleman will get your comment.
