OORA is the musical project of Italian artist Federico Chiesa, who shapes analog synthesis, melodic minimalism, and emotional tension into a deeply cinematic form of electronic music. His work emerges from the desire to transform vulnerability, memory, and inner fragility into slow, immersive soundscapes—compositions that evolve through harmonic depth, restraint, and physical interaction with instruments. Before dedicating himself to electronic music, Federico was the frontman and guitarist of the stoner-rock band Mr. Bison, releasing multiple albums and performing across Italy and abroad. This background forged his relationship with live performance: a focus on presence, intensity, and the narrative arc of a concert. Over time, he moved away from distortion and towards introspection, eventually finding in OORA a language where physicality meets delicacy.
