First off, thank you for taking the time to do this bro. I'm sure life is busy for ya so very grateful a random person like myself got to connect. As far as the feedback goes, it was so helpful to get your perspective on my track because you made a lot of points that I had never thought much of. The emphasis on beat selection was huge because honestly bro I thought the mix and vocals were the weakest part. When you explained it that way it made a lot of sense and kind of opened my mind up a bit for sure. I also love that you were straight up about the beat, because even though I was a little cheesed when you said that it gives me shit to improve upon. None of the people I'm close with are really into music this way so sometimes it's hard to get a like-minded perspective and/or criticism on my music if that makes sense. For example 90% of my homies have no clue what a pre-amp is. Getting off the rails a bit here but my point is that a fresh set of ears that has been doing this for a while is very very invaluable and can open up plenty new thoughts. It was cool that you referenced one of the bars too, made me feel like you didn't just glaze over it quick to get it over with type thing. Your feedback was honest and genuine so not much more I could ask for brotha. I was debating sending this to you for a while so I'm glad I pulled the trigger, well worth it. Such a cool experience being able to connect with you man, got me fired up when I saw you responded. Would love to cross paths with ya in the future. Until then enjoy Colorado, best of luck with the new music and keep doing your thing big dawg, lots of people appreciate it. Much love Kirk! -96GhosT
