Fluid, unpredictable, and wired with precision, Rhyw’s music evolves as it defies expectation. Releasing primarily on Fever AM, the imprint he runs with Mor Elian, as well as on Voam and Modeselektor’s SSPB, Rhyw fuses strains of ultra-modern techno and broken beat: eyes-down minimal charged with modular sass, choppy kicks tangled with rolling grooves, sharp design cutting through earthy subs. His amphibious sound slips into otherworldly spaces while never leaving the dance floor. Rhyw turned heads with ‘Biggest Bully,’ leading to sets at Berghain, Berlin Atonal, Boiler Room Tokyo, and tours across Asia and the US. A Rinse FM resident with Mor Elian for the Fever AM show, he’s also contributed mixes to Dekmantel, FACT, Mixmag, and BBC6. His sets balance intricacy and impact - alien, hypnotic, and shapeshifting. In 2022, “Honey Badger” on Voam became a breakout anthem, and since 2023 he’s brought his live show to Draaimolen, Primavera, Mutek, Positive Education, and more.
