Frequently asked questions

Music feedback

Emerald records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
MP3 or WAV, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so Emerald knows exactly what to focus on.
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If Emerald hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
You can swap the track as long as Emerald hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.
