DJ Babatr is a Venezuelan DJ, producer, and cultural innovator recognized as the creator and foremost exponent of Raptor House (also known as changa tuki), a high-energy electronic genre born in the barrios of Caracas in the late 1990s. Emerging from communities such as Catia and Petare, Babatr transformed a grassroots movement into a global club phenomenon, challenging stereotypes and amplifying the voice of Venezuela’s underground scene.
