About

Bss is the musical alias of Amsterdam born and raised Luigi Vittorio Jansen. The result is a rich and varied balearic world that is always suprising, yet strangely familiar, and where no two records sound quite alike. Elevating crowds by carefully crafted selections earned BSS quality shows across Europe, US, Asia and both the America’s. On top of all this he has got a by monthly residency called Komuna at the amazing Opium club in Lithuania. Together with striking releases on labels as Dekmantel, Hivern Discs, Notte brigante and the monthly show (BSS Radio) on Echobox Radio Bss keeps on demonstrating versatility and infectious love of music.

Frequently asked questions

Music feedback

BSS records a private video breaking down your track — mix, arrangement, sound design, or whatever you ask them to focus on. It lands in your inbox and you can watch it whenever you want, as many times as you like.
Early sketches are often the most valuable to get feedback on, before you get lost in too many iterations — but finished tracks work too if you want a second opinion or to get on the artist’s radar.
MP3 or WAV, any length. Add a note and links when you upload so BSS knows exactly what to focus on.
Most feedback arrives within a few days. If BSS hasn’t responded within 7 days, you’re automatically refunded.
You can swap the track as long as BSS hasn’t listened yet. After that you can cancel the request for a refund and start a new one.
Yes. Once your feedback is delivered, you’ll find a private message option on your request page. Use it to ask the artist a follow-up question or get clarification on something they mentioned in the video.
