How did you learn music and did you have mentors?

I learned music theory and piano at the music school in my hometown as a kid. But then I learned Ableton mostly by myself and through online tutorials and videos.

If you were not making music what would you do?

If I wasn't making music, that means I'm dead.

If you could spend a day in the studio with one of your heroes, who would it be?

I'd love to spend one day in the studio / house of Aphex Twin. A big inspiration for me.

What is your secret weapon ?

My secret weapon is this bad boy, the Pro 3. It's a very reliable synth, just very hands on, easy to use, like no drama, and you can make very fat sounds with it. So, it’s very inspiring. I couldn't live without the studio, really.

What’s the special object in your studio that you can’t live without ?

It's just there's not one specific things about it, but just a collection of things like paintings and the light and the setup and this wall that's really organic and even this funny mirror.

Any ritual before creating music?

My ritual before making music would be just trying to empty my mind and be focused on the moment. Put my phone away. That's the most important. And really just get into that concrete bubble vibe that the studio brings and really that stop caring about, I don't know, anything else and just really be in the moment and focus on the creation.
